During high school Charlie Friedman worked as a sailmaker. When his old leather wallet fell apart, he made a replacement with scraps of sailcloth. The new wallet was super strong yet lightweight and worked better than any other wallet. This experience kickstarted a passion for creating carrying gear that would last forever and function effortlessly.
