Outdoor Brand Acronyms! Round #2

Lloyd Vogel
Round #2! Within the outdoor community, there are a simply ridiculous number of  acronyms and initials. While some are household names (such as REI), others are a bit more obscure. This week, we test your knowledge by presenting you with 11 different initials and acronyms! While some of the options are intended to poke fun, all choices were made with nothing but love for all the brands in this list.

Want to win $50 to Garage Grown Gear? Make your guesses (and comment with the number you got correct) for a chance to win a $50 giftcard to GGG (we'll pick winners later this week). Getting a better score doesn’t increase your chances (so be honest), but it does supply you a temporary feeling of superiority. Good luck!

Got nine of the ‘em. CCS was a head scratcher and while I’ve wondered about LAF, I didn’t seriously think that’s what it stood for, but it does – cool (and ballsy)!

In regards to the LiteAF comments, here is the snippet from our article last week:

The meaning, Chris laughed, depends on your interpretation, “or your sense of humor!” Lorraine noted the feather in the logo, so the brand could be deciphered as light as a feather “if you wanted it to.”

It’s LiteAsFu** unless you find it offensive! Then it’s LiteAsaFeather :)

9.3/11 or 85% or B+ (3 is either 1/3 wrong or totally wrong)
LiteAF internally was named LiteAsFu**, with the acknowledgement being in general on the outside it would be LiteAsaFeather. At least, that is what I got from the article here on GGG
