I'm currently reading Broken Open by Elizabeth Lesser. The book is sprinkled with lovely and rich quotes. The above quote from Joseph Campbell particularly resonates with me. I kept it close to heart throughout the Fourth of July weekend. And savored the many moments when I felt deeply the rapture of being alive, from running over the Teton Mountains with wonderful friends to watching my daughter's enchantment with a parade and fireworks.
