ONAK 2.0 - Origami Canoe
No it's not an ORU Kayak, its an ONAK 2.0 Canoe! With a very similar look and feel, these origami boats fold up small (for a boat), weigh just 33lbs, and take under 15 minutes to set up. Don't have room to store a 16 foot canoe? Want to be able to carry your canoe on public transit? The ONAK certainly offers some creative solutions around weight, transportation, and storage.
ONAKs are made from an in-house developed Honeycomb - Curv™ Polypropylene composite. It is light, stiff, and stronger than the aluminum used in classic canoes (strength-to-weight). All strength aside, the fold lines are flexible so they can be folded and unfolded thousands of times. On top of all this, it is still fully recyclable.
