This site is awesome!!!!! I maybe might spend too much time on this site but it is definitely worth it. I’ve wasted time looking through products on other outdoor stores. Other stores will have too many products that maybe good in some areas but not in others. You end up having to make compromises. Here on this site you’re mostly looking at top tier products that have their specs clearly listed. I love it. Keep up the good work GGG. My only recommendation would be to have your web developer make it so your shopping cart is saved if you leave the site.

This is the best online store for backpackers period. The staff is responsive and helpful. They aren’t perfect (I have had an order messed up) but they made it right. They are people that care about the passion. I will be a forever customer. My shopping priority list goes (Local Mom and Pop shops, GGG, web/box stores). Even if it’s a couple bucks more at GGG than a box store they are my go to! Thanks GGG for putting in the legwork to get the best selections at good prices in one place!!!!

GGG has fantastic brands, excellent customer service if needed, and stupidly fast shipping. Everything you want from a good small company, and with none of the bulk.

I wasn't aware of GGG, but it was spot on when I saw the practical, hard-to-find things that are so important if you work or spend time living outdoors. You can tell the products are valuable in solving real concerns you run into on a climb, hike, or remote outdoor work.

I'm still using a Svea123 with a Sigg touristor. Needless to say I'm not really ultra light. Slowly updating gear and this looks like the place to be. Top notch gear and competitive prices. I will spread the word as much as possible.

GGG has become my go to stomping ground for gear. Later REI, I'm a GGGer! Nice to have a spot to support small brands and get everything you need for going ultralight.

Paid extra for 2 day shipping. 6 days later and I still have not recieved my items. Leave for JMT thru hike tommorrow. Super bummed. they told me" our faster shiping times are not accurate and on a sort of a sliding scale.

Ordered and delivered within a week. Everything worked fantastic will shop here again for sure.

I think what makes or brakes an online shop as GGG is the support. I had issues ordering the stuff I wanted, so I contacted the support and got a reply after 30mins which was instantly fixing the issue I was having within 1 email.
My order was incomplete upon arrival which I first thought would probably be an issue, but it went really smooth. They simply sent the missing item no questions asked.
So overall great support

Living in a smaller city in the Colorado mountains I do appreciate a business that cares about customers and their satisfaction. That became clear with my 1st interaction. They also have the gear I like and prices that are very close to Amazon, my go to retailer who also cares about their customers but more in the 100,000 increments than the one. Not the case here, great small company.

I am doing shakedown hikes, trying to choose what I will need for my long hike on the AT next year. If I think of a problem or a wish, I get on here and there it is. The answer! Looks perfect. And it is. Pack liner, shoulder strap pads, headlamp, powdered soap and toothpaste tablets, ditty bags, food, a new pillow and a bunch more. It is always fun, easy, fair-priced and quick to ship. Hope to dial in my gear soon, with much thanks to GGG!

Just got my first big (to me!) shipment and it was a fabulous experience. The prices were great and my package arrived quickly. Loved the sticker they threw in and was delighted to find a pack of red pepper flakes they added just for fun. How did they know I add those to EVERYTHING?! Now I don't have to make my own baggie to take on my first overnight trip in September. Thanks GGG!

So far my shopping experience leaves a little to be desired...firstly I hit a barrier trying to make a purchase using paypal getting a message that the merchant would not accept my currency. (Canadian dollars) I could only assume this meant I needed to select USD from the drop down menu but unfortunately for me that was not on the list...so then I had no option but to use a credit card to make the transaction.
Upon completing my purchase I discovered that to view tracking information for my order I had to then download an app on my phone, complete the registration form
Needless to say so far this hasn't been too great.
