Peak First Aid kits provide premium tools to help control major bleeding, splint and immobilize, stabilize joints and ligaments, care for wounds, and treat other common injuries. These are the conditions most often seen in rock & ice climbing, backcountry skiing, backpacking, trail running, hunting, mountain biking, and more. Wherever your adventures take you, you can explore confidently with Peak First Aid.

Every item in the Peak First Aid kit was carefully studied and selected to ensure only the best components are included. The carrying pouch uses premium waterproof fabrics and zippers that will protect everything from the elements and years of abuse. It is crazy strong, unbelievably lightweight, and water-resistant. Peak Tape is a premium athletic tape with a super stick adhesive to help support injured joints and ligaments, splint fractures, and more. The best part is the zero wasted space with its innovative flat pack design.

While most first aid kits skip tourniquets and pack a few more little bandages, Peak First Aid believes in providing the best tourniquets in every kit. This ultralight device is designed to help rapidly control arterial bleeding. Plus, it can be applied as a versatile pressure dressing for certain external hemorrhaging, as an elastic bandage to support injured joints and ligaments, or to aid in splinting. (Bonus tip: It is approved for use on dogs too!)

At only 6.5 ounces, you'll forget that the Peak First Aid kit is in your pack until you need it. It is small and slim, at 7.5" x 4.5" x ½". It fits effortlessly into tight pockets and even ultra-running vests. There is no mission too fast and too light to leave a kit like this behind.

Search and rescue is often the only lifeline when things go terribly wrong and self-rescue is no longer an option. Peak First Aid kits can help stabilize major injuries to give search and rescue the time to respond. For every Peak First Aid kit sold, $2 is donated to underfunded Search and Rescue teams.

This is not your standard first aid kit in a few key ways:

  • The kit is best used with some level of wilderness medicine training such as wilderness first aid.
  • It is not for ouchies and booboos. While there are two classic adhesive bandages packed in the kit they are certainly not the emphasis of this kit. This kit is designed to help stabilize more serious injuries such as broken bones, large bleeds, injured joints and ligaments, and more.
  • This kit does not emphasize infection management as most people will self-evac or rapid-evac to professional medical care after a serious injury.
  • Many items are multi-use. e.g. Peak Tape can be used to secure injured ligaments, attach splinting material, create custom sized bandages, prevent blistering, and as good old fashioned tape OR the tourniquet can also be used as a pressure bandage or sling.
