Jim Hamel, a hiker from Oregon, couldn’t find a compact, trail-friendly table — so he built one himself. The simple, foldable design quickly caught the attention of thru-hikers across the U.S., especially on the Pacific Crest Trail, where every gram counts. When Jim decided to retire, he entrusted the brand to Moonrocket, a South Korean company that shares the values of simplicity, community, and purpose. Rather than outsource production, Moonrocket is committed to making Cascade Wild in Korea while creating meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. Today, over 90% of the production of the Cascade Wild Table is handled by disabled workers, offering both exceptional craftsmanship and social impact.
