The Ocelot Windscreen by Flat Cat Gear is a compact yet effective windscreen and burner plate system designed to enhance fuel efficiency for canister-top stoves on windy days. While all stoves benefit from a windscreen, canister-top stoves are particularly vulnerable to wind, and the Ocelot Windscreen provides an innovative solution.  

Using a windscreen with a canister stove requires careful spacing to prevent overheating of the fuel. Traditional solutions have often been bulky and heavy. The Ocelot System redefines this approach with a lightweight, packable windscreen that fits inside your cooking pot or mug. It shields the burner head from wind while ensuring proper airflow and allowing the isobutane canister to stay cool.

Specs

Pot / Mug Size: 

• Standard: for pots up to 750ml (up to 4.2" | 10.7cm in diameter)
  • Packs into a 750ml pot with just enough room to also fit a 4oz gas canister. For smaller pots, the burner plate will need to be stored externally. 
• Mini: for pots around 400ml  (up to 3.8" | 9.7cm in diameter)
  • Packs into a TOAKS 550 mug with enough room to nest the Ocelot, a BRS 3000, and a 4oz fuel canister inside. It will also nest inside smaller pots without room for a fuel canister. 

Stove Fit: 

• Pocket Rocket Version: PocketRocket® 2 and PocketRocket® Deluxe Stove *not compatible with the Original PocketRocket® 
• BRS-3000T Version: BRS-3000T Ultralight Burner
