It sure would be nice for those of us who don’t subscribe to social media to be able to earn extra entries in some other way. YouTube? Sure, I can follow GGG there no problem. Make a purchase on GGG? Only if there’s something I truly need, not just to get extra giveaway entries (but thanks for the discount!). I realize it’s my personal choice and that a SM presence is all but essential to doing business these days, but I’m not tied to the Insta, the FB, the X, or any other SM app. I guess I’ll just stick to my 12 entries and let chance decide.

Same story as a lot of the above- I’ve been using my Aarn Featherlite Freedom pack for almost twenty years now. I still remember my delight at how good it felt on that first hike. Since then I’ve used it all over, schlepping my gear and the occasional sleeping toddler. Like that pack, all my gear is old and lovingly repaired, but that doesn’t mean I’d turn my nose up at anything new and light. With age comes wisdom, right!

Very cool contest. I don’t hike due to a construction injury but my closest cousin (I’m 63 & I’m 3 months older) lives in the PNW & is a hardcore hiking fool. If I’m not mistaken she lives relatively close to Mt Ranier & her & her buds hike somewhere almost every weekend, even in the dead of winter. I mean serious hikers/climbers. If I were to win anything here I would be gifting my cuz, even though she never comes to see me when she comes home to Texas. That’s probably cause it’s flat flat where I’m located LOL but I still love her :)
