When backcountry explorer Fritz Sperry set the goal to write backcountry ski guidebooks covering Colorado terrain, he was determined to do it well. To get it done, he launched Giterdun (gh-it-‘er-done) Publishing. The result is high-quality images combined with meticulous, authentic trip reports.
“I had a vision for the guidebook and wanted it to be picture heavy, and it seemed worth it to me to do it myself,” said Fritz. Rather than using low-resolution black-and-white images, hi-res photography provides skiers with more details about the surroundings, environment and conditions, and can help to inform crucial choices while navigating in the wilderness.
