This product is perfect for the hiker who wants their phone to be in reach and easily accessible. The main flap will protect your phone mildly from dust or rain, but this phone pocket optimizes easy/quick access over protection from water.
The secondary flap is a small piece of webbing off to the side. This flap is there so that you can have an aux chord sticking out of the top of the phone pocket while hiking! Chicken Tramper Gear also includes a lycra mesh pocket for extra snack storage.
Attachment: there are two plastic siamese clips to attach to the strap above and below the pouch. It can then be cinched tight using the webbing slider on the back panel.
