Interested in what outdoorsy projects are live on Kickstarter? We've got you covered! This week we are checking out 4 Kickstarter Projects currently seeking your support: Walden Hammocks, Siege Stove, Wayfinder, and the Pumice Jacket

Walden Hammocks - 3-in-1 Hammock, Shelter, and Blanket

The Walden Hammock is a hammock, a shelter, and a blanket with a bunch of different uses and setups. With built-in guyline pockets, 6 easy to adjust tie-down points, waterproof coating, and a stitched border, the Walden was created with a keen eye for the detail. Its a shelter when you want to dodge the rain, and a hammock when you want to enjoy the sun!

Walden Hammocks were designed by an outdoors-man who found that having to pack and carry multiple pieces of gear to provide shelter was cumbersome. So, he made a hammock that could be easily converted into multiple different survival shelters.

Siege Stove - The Ultimate Camping and Survival Stove

The absolute BRILLANCE of the Siege Stove is in its simplicity. Using just 4 stainless steel or titanium cross members, you can turn pretty much any can into a wood burning stove. Big can or small can, the Siege Stove can make it work. Don't want to find your own can? The Siege Collapsible Stove looks pretty bomber. Also these puppies a 100% made in the USA!

The Siege Stove cross-members will be an essential addition to any camping gear, backpack, bug-out bag, car or home emergency survival kit. With them you can rapidly create wood-burning, multi-fuel and even wood-gas stoves out of common cans, and be prepared for anything.

The Wayfinder - The Most Versatile Camping Hammock

It's not a just a hammock, it's a hammock system! The Wayfinder camping system comes with a hammock, detachable bugnet, rainfly, and straps. Designed for simplicity of use and ease of set up, The Wayfinder camping system provides the comfort of a hammock and the elemental protection of a tent.

When the weather is nice, you can chill in the hammock with friends, having the bugnet and rainfly stashed away in the attached stuff sack, and quickly zip on the bugnet or clip over the rainfly if the bugs come out or rain is approaching. The weather can be unpredictable, but with the Wayfinder you can be prepared for any situation, quick and easy.

The Pumice Jacket - Stop the Wind, Fight the Rain

While Sendero is best known for their sweet "American West" inspired hats, they have now entered into the world of outdoorsy apparel! While the Pumice Jacket isn't a performance jacket per se, its light, attractively designed, and appears to be ideal for casual outdoorsing or aroundtowning.

Constructed from featherweight, 100% nylon ripstop with a DWR finish, the Pumice Jacket will protect you from the elements, while not weighing you down. It will pack into its chest pocket, making it the perfect trip companion so you can save room for the important stuff- like snacks.
