Anicca Bags Teton Roll Top Bag

I am in constant search of a bag that is durable, stylish (but not too loud), and well made.  My other huge requirement? Pockets. I need tons of pockets.  So, when I was given the opportunity to  review the Anicca Teton Roll Top Bag with Pendleton Wool, I jumped on it. The custom backpack with a 13" laptop sleeve is handmade by Jeremy Holmstead right here in the USA.

And, yes, it is durable and does have pockets – two pockets on the bottom for keys, a mouse, and other small items and, one pocket under the Anicca flap with a hidden zipper pocket inside for your wallet, etc. Then there's the zipper pocket under the Pendleton Wool flap, which holds a laptop. And these are just the external pockets on the bag!

The interior of the bag is completely waterproof with another laptop flap inside, just in case you need options. I usually fill up this bag everyday before I head out to my local coffee shop. (Ahhh, life as a freelancer). I can get notebooks, my laptop, charger, lunch, a jacket and water bottle in it, and still have plenty of room to spare.

Jeremy pours his passion for high-quality products into each Anicca Bag (pronounced “ah-knee-cha). "There are so many bag companies out there already," he says. "I don't just want to make you a bag; I want to create something for you that is unique and meaningful, as well as useful."

It was after a devastating skiing accident that Jeremy began sewing. He found himself with a lot of downtime during the healing process. As his mobility was limited, he decided to channel his adventurous spirit into creating with his hands. His grandparents had given him a sewing machine and he soon found himself making a backpack with materials he had on hand. He began experimenting with different fabrics and techniques while collaborating with friends on custom designs that fit their needs. The outcome was Anicca Bags.

Jeremy and his wife Marinna currently spend their winters skiing in the Tetons and the summers traveling around the Pacific Northwest in their 1972 Ford Econoline Camper van, Gus that they have customized to fit their venturesome lifestyle.
