You will need top lightweight gear to hike places like the The Stairway to Heaven hike on Oahu, Hawaii, (also known as the Haiku Stairs). A grueling 3,922 stairs that lead up the imposing mountain ridge, often at an almost vertical incline, with only a handrail to catch you from falling into the valley below. Others like those in the Andes Mountains, long thru hikes for the Triple Crown of the PCT, CDT, and AT are a perfect fit for the gear you have assembled here.

While gathering all the info I ended up buying some items that aren’t listed as prizes in the contest. Justifying it as buying things I already “need” while boosting my entries.
