Launch Week Day 3: Packraft Rental Giveaway
How can I create a rafting trip for me and friends on a budget?
Awesome opportunity to try out your cool pack raft!!!
Montana is the perfect place to enjoy this wonderful prize! What a great idea!
Can’t wait to try this out!
This is good question to tackle. Jackson Hole Packraft & Packraft Rentals Anywhere will do a blog post about it. Good news is that once you get equipment lined up, the trip itself doesn’t cost anything more than food, gas and possibly a permit, depending on where you go. We actually see JHP’s role as giving people a taste of packrafting without having to fork out $1100 to buy a new packraft. A weekly rental at through JHP costs $200.
Are there any lightweight, combination paddle/fishing-rod products on the market?
Do you guys ship internationally? Curious about the ability to put together an epic antipodean adventure. Stoked to know about this as a way to get a taste of packrafting!
Not that we know of yet … 2 companies worth pitching that idea to are Shearwater Webbed Paddles out of Canada (giveaway opens tomorrow for one of its canoe paddles) and The Packraft Table. The folks over at The Packraft Table, in particular, are really focused on how to make packrafts compatible with fishing and hunting and seem to have a lot of cool ideas up their sleeve. (www.packrafttable.com). If we hear of anything, we’ll let you know.
How do packrafts perform on flatwater??
Best suggestion for a 1 night packraft trip for 2 couples outside of Jackson. Think long weekend.
